We launched our new eco lamp, Coca Lamp at this years Lighten Up exhibition. Lighten Up showcases 64 of the UK’s most innovative sustainable domestic lighting solutions. Looking beyond the bulb, Lighten Up explores the power of design to pioneer sustainable lighting – from new technologies and materials to aesthetics and interaction.

Shedding light on the stories behind the products, Lighten Up offers insight and inspiration for the next generation of lighting. Lighten Up received a great response at its launch, when it appeared as a feature at 100% Design, Earls Court, in September.

Climate Cool By Design was an exhibition of 70 innovative designs from the UK, highlighting links between design and climate change. Curated by [re]design for British Council China, Climate Cool offered a fresh look at the issue of climate change, how UK designers are responding to the challenge, and how we can all make a difference through what we buy and do.

Price Tower Arts Center offers a one-of-a-kind experience: outstanding collections and exhibitions of art, architecture and design, high design hotel accommodations, fine dining and exclusive shopping within a structure considered to be one of the great buildings of the 20th century.

Frank Lloyd Wright's Price Tower was his pioneering experiment in the multi-use skyscraper: a tall, slim, richly detailed structure whose purpose was to combine business offices, retail and apartments. Today, Price Tower Arts Center continues to follow Wright's original design intent by offering a variety of opportunities for guests to learn from and interact with one of the master's greatest achievements.

With the world going ‘green’ and curiosity converging on the impact of human consumption and squander, Price Tower Arts Center in Bartlesville, Oklahoma is initiating a conversation through art about the environmental impact of today’s society. The exhibition entitled, Imaginative Qualities of Actual Things, will explore the new world of object reassignment, presenting creative repurposed or ‘upcycled’ objects that both stretch the imagination and suggest how to reduce the impact on the environment.  From repurposed puzzle pieces on wallpaper to oversized photographs showing the massive disposal of cell phones, this exhibition makes the audience pause in a moment of awe and personal reflection. This inaugural exhibition is a part of Price Tower Arts Center’s new Triennial exhibition series, appropriately dubbed 3-logy (pronounced trilogy), which will examine international contemporary artwork produced or manufactured in the last three years.

With over 30 objects on display, contemporary artists like Tracy Kendall and Kate Goldsworthy from Great Britain, Volksware from Germany, Anke Weiss from the Netherlands, Miwa Koizumi from Japan, Zac Freeman from Florida, and Jil Weinstock from New York will be represented at Price Tower Arts Center, 510 Dewey Avenue, Bartlesville, Oklahoma.

[re]design events and exhibitions examine the ecological imperatives, social and political drivers, and creative strategies that shape sustainable design. We aim to engage diverse audiences – public, education and business – in the [re]design of design.
